Brought a Body on Him....

Murder Was the Case...Out the South

Introduction:  Attending court is never easy.  You never know what case's will be available to be seen, where they will be in the trial, and whether or not the case is relevant.  For the defendant in a murder case however, there can be nothing less important then those things. What's important to a defendant in a jury trial is that they are given access to true due process.

Task: After watching yesterday's murder trial, explain and react specifically to your experience. Consider:
What did you see?
What did you think of what you saw?
Which side (defense or prosecution) presented a better case?
What concepts of a trial were presented and how did it better help you understand law...these could include:
-expert witnesses
-lay witnesses
-evidence
-heresay
-plea bargaining

BE SURE TO WRITE AT LEAST A 5 SENTENCE PARAGRAPH IN RESPONSE.

Then, react to two people's posts.

Grading:  10 points for a 5 sentence paragraph (or more) reacting to the question.
10 points for a thoughtful reaction to the posts of two other people.
